     \u201cHamroh\u201d, a company that supports women in entrepreneurship, and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Uzbekistan have signed an agreement to implement a joint project, the \u201cWomen\u2019s Entrepreneurship Support Programme.\u201d The Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan serves as the national partner of the project.<\/p>\r\n

     Under the signed agreement, \u201cHamroh\u201d is the key organizer of the programme, providing comprehensive support to women entrepreneurs\u2014from business consulting to hands-on assistance in implementing their projects. UNDP, committed to human development, joins as a strategic partner, bringing international best practices in mentorship programmes and business acceleration initiatives.<\/p>\r\n\r\n     The parties have agreed to collaborate in two key areas: The first is education and professional development. It includes training sessions for women entrepreneurs, covering business management, financial planning and strategic development. The training programme will be based on practical case studies and adapted to participants’ real needs.<\/div>\r\n

     The second one – mentorship and acceleration. Within this framework, participants will receive expert support, including mentorship and acceleration programmes, which will help them develop professional skills and scale their businesses.<\/p>\r\n

I hope that through our joint efforts, we will significantly increase the number of successful women entrepreneurs in Uzbekistan and create a more favorable environment for their professional growth and development,\u201d said Dilfuza Nurmatova, CEO of \u201cHamroh\u201d.<\/p>\r\n\r\n     Akiko Fujii, UNDP Resident Representative in Uzbekistan, noted: \u201cWhen women entrepreneurs receive targeted support, they don\u2019t just build businesses\u2014they transform communities, drive economic growth, and create a more inclusive future. After many years of supporting women in business through various initiatives, UNDP is excited to leverage our international networks for this new partnership initiative\u201d.<\/div>\r\n
