     In recent years, the priority of the economic policy has been increased production capacities, implement innovative solutions to adapt to market demands, diversify transport corridors, and export domestic products to new markets.
\r\n     Measures are being implemented to enhance export potential by accessing high-income markets and increasing export volumes.
\r\n     Measures are being implemented to increase export potential by accessing high-income markets and increasing export volumes. Special attention is paid to strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation and trade relations with the countries of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS). Trade and economic relations among the OTS member countries are developing successfully.
\r\n     The Organization of Turkic States, founded on the commonality of language, spiritual values, and historical-cultural ties, has become a symbol of brotherhood and has created an effective mechanism for regional cooperation. The main goal of the OTS is to develop mutual trust, friendship, and good neighborliness between Turkic countries, to ensure regional peace, mutual support on the international stage, and comprehensive cooperation. Joint efforts yield tangible results. Last year, within the framework of the OTS, a Commission for the Simplification of Trade Procedures was established. Its meetings regularly discuss issues related to the digital exchange of information on goods and vehicles crossing customs borders, the use of electronic certificates in mutual trade, the integration of information systems, and the recognition of certification results.
\r\n     Agreements have been reached to eliminate tariff and non-tariff barriers in trade between the countries that are members of the OTS, as well as to mutually simplify trade and customs procedures when exporting domestic products. In particular, bilateral free trade agreements were signed with Azerbaijan (27 May 1996), Kazakhstan (2 June 1997), and Kyrgyzstan (24 December 1996). A preferential trade agreement was signed with the Republic of Turkey (29 March 2022), allowing the export of 12 types of products at reduced customs duties. A common list of exemptions for the free trade regime with Turkmenistan was approved (18 July 2024). The implementation of this regime is nearing completion.<\/div>\r\n
