1/2022

Today, the development of our society is inconceivable without technical progress and modern devices. Smart devices that make people’s life easier and their way closer to the distance have already become an integral part of our lifestyle. It is useful to highlight in this regard that the efforts made by our government to increase the experience of our youth in foreign countries, acquired practical skills to the production enterprises of our country are bearing fruit. The fundamental ideas and innovations of young people are duly encouraged by our government.
Particularly, in 2018-2020 the Ministry of Innovative Development allocated 96.5 billion Uzbek soums from the science financing and innovation support fund to purchase 123 types of laboratory equipment for research and higher education institutions and the fact that this amount was financed for these reasons is also a confirmation of our words above. By the end of 2021, 206 more types of laboratory equipment totally to 82.9 billion soums will be purchased for research organizations.
In order to assimilate the methods of operation of the acquired scientific laboratory equipment, 20 scientific employees were sent to the leading foreign scientific organizations for short-term scientific internships. In 2019-2020, were organized short-term scientific internships for young scientists and 231 young scientists were sent to 21 foreign countries (USA, Russia, Great Britain, Germany, etc.)to upgrade their skills.
For these purposes 6.1 billion Uzbek soums were allocated from the Science financing and Innovation Support Fund. In order to organize short-term scientific internships for young scientists, during 9 months of 2021 there were held 5 contests. Moreover, the information of experience (documents) of 440 candidates from research and higher education institutions recommended for short-term research internships were considered and there were held selection competitions. Furthermore, 1.9 billion Uzbek soums were allocated for 37 young scientists to 6 foreign countries for short-term research internships. At the same time, as soon as permits for international flights due to the pandemic begin to be granted, 248 winning candidates will be provided with a trip on favorable terms, taking into account epidemiological conditions.
In order to inform the youth about the work carried out the Ministry of innovation development and the fund for science financing and support for innovations within the framework of sending young scientists to leading foreign scientific organizations for short-term scientific internships are regularly held the round table conferences and webinars.
